vehicle description:

A lovely HPI clear TVR Griffith 500 finished in Rosso Pearl Red metallic with black leather interior which I have owned for more than 2yrs. During which time I have covered approximately 12k very happy miles in the car, including a faultless 3k mile trip across Europe in Summer 2017!!!
The vehicle is MOTd until February 2019 (with no advisories) and has covered a total of 99.5k miles and enjoys a full and up-to-date service history with TVR dealers/specialists from new.
In fact, so obscene is the amount of history, that it is virtually impossible to provide an overview! It has been compiled and indexed in a lever arch folder from day one by its previous owners and myself!
In addition to a mountain of invoices and paperwork, it also has its complete and original leather TVR filofax with a fully stamped service history (27* stamps in total!!!!!).
Being a post 1995/6 example, my Griffith is a later production version which featured serpentine engines coupled with the Borg Warner T5 gearbox and has the standard non-assisted steering setup.
Having driven numerous examples with and without PAS I can honestly say that for me, the non-assisted examples are far nicer to drive. Providing a level of feel and communication not found in the PAS equipped cars.
The following works were all completed in 2017 during which time the car has covered approximately 6k miles;

The chassis is in good condition and has been treated to Waxoyl applications by previous owners from new.
A weather eye has been kept on the outriggers since corrosion was found on the offside outrigger by a TVR Specialist a couple of years ago. It appears not to have worsened and has never been picked up by an MOT tester however, at such time as it is, replacement will be required. Hence my low asking price reflects the fact that the outriggers are the originals and will require replacement at an indeterminable point in the future. This job is offered by most TVR specialists at a total cost of around £2k for a replacement pair supplied and fitted. Therefore, the low asking price will go someway to meeting the cost of this as and when required and in the meantime, simply enjoy the cheapest, HPI clear and beautifully sorted Griffith 500 available for sale as-is!!!
The vehicle is in very good condition throughout and drives superbly to say the very least!
It goes like a rocket, corners like it’s on rails and sounds epic!!!
