97R starmist blue with silver/grey leather upholstery, 11 onths mot, serpentine engine, later T5 gearbox, power steering model, leven technology alloy cockpit, polished engine bay, fully painted chassis in white, protech fully adjustable coilovers ,drilled and grooved discs, new front calipers, alarm &immobiliser, 2 keys, 11 service stamps as follows-

Bodywork - the starmist blue mettalic paintwork is very good it has a nice deep shine. The frond end has the usual stone chips so would benefit from a respray.
ENGINE - the TVR chimaera 450 is rated as the best all round TVR. The low mileage 4.5 has good oil pressure and sounds awesome. It has just had a 12k service at tga specialists, the engine bay is beautifully presented with polished plenum, rocker covers, alloy tanks, samco hoses, high performance ignition leads, a credit to the previous owner alot of time and love has gone into it..The engine is strong has plenty power & torque. Fans kick in as they should with no overheating whatsoever not even in traffic on hot day.
Gearbox - The gearbox is nice and tight as u would expect from a low mileage car, gearchanges are smooth and slick.
Suspension/brakes - the TVR had just undergone a 4 wheel alignment, camber & toe adjustment by tga TVR specialist + coilovers adjustment thanks to tga who done a great job the car now handles very well, the brake discs are drilled and grooved, it"s also had new calipers and stopping power is unbelievable.
Interior - The silver/grey leather upholstery with blue carpets & dash top make for a perfect combo, the leather is in exellent condition with minimal wear to bolsters, carpets are in good condition, walnut dash has some cracks but not bad at all still much better than that alloy crap they put on aftermarket. Everything works as it should all the electrics , the heaters, lights, dash lights, central locking, electric mirrors etc ( passenger windows slow going up)
It comes with original roof cover and original targa roof cover, a built in trickle charger, leven alloy switch gear, 2 keys, pioneer head unit with usb, pioneer speaker system, even comes with a Steve heath bible in case u get stuck..The chassis outriggers are all good and nicely painted been painted in white
Now the bad bits - the car is recorded as cat d in 2005 had a very light front damage, this did not put me off buying the car because it really is a lovely example and well loved and cherished.
The front end would benefit from a respray which was on my to do list.
The targa roof has lifted a little easy fix just trying to be honest as possible.
This is a very reluctant sale with genuine reason for it, I have put a realistic price on it due to it being a cat d which really means nothing how many TVR"s have been crashed and repaired but never recorded who knows hey.
Please note category d can now be taken off the register with just a simple inspection which costs around £300.
The TVR has an agreed valuation of £15k with certificate
