“Car in fair/ poor condition overall for age. AS IS WHERE IS. NO MOT. BUYER MUST COLLECT/ TOW AWAY. Just failed MOT due to front wishbone arm which needs replacing. Per my MOT garage- they quoted about £100 part and £250 for labour. Also needs 1 new tyre- £20 2nd hand. Mechanically engine & gearbox are still very good and work fine- 81,000 miles. Body generally ok, no Rust, but paint work fair/poor condition with some scratches and fading in locations. Front drivers side bumper had slight ding but nothing major. Interior is again in fair condition for its age, but could do with a good clean.”

2001 ALFA 156 SPORTWAGON VELOCE 1.8L PETROL TWIN SPARK. 81,000 MILES. **CAR SOLD AS IS** FAIR/POOR CONDITION. NO MOT SO BUYER MUST COLLECT FROM (WEST HAMPSTEAD NW6, LONDON) AND HAVE TOWED AWAY TO DESTINATION AS CANNOT DRIVE WITH NO MOT. I HAVE OWNED THIS FOR THE PAST 6-7 YEARS AND HAVE DONE MINIMAL MILEAGE (AVERGING 2K MILES PA). UNFORTUNATELY HAS JUST FAILED MOT DUE TO THE FRONT WISHBONE ARMS WHICH NEED REPLACING. PER MY MOT GARAGE WILL COST ABOUT £100 FOR PARTS AND £300 FOR LABOUR. ALSO NEEDS 1 NEW TYRE- AROUND £25 2ND HAND. FOR ME I HAVE JUST PURCHASED ANOTHER CAR AND IS NOT WORTH REPAIRING. THEREFORE THIS CAR WOULD SUIT SOMEONE WHO IS ABLE TO DO THE REPAIRS THEMSELVES TO SAVE THE MONEY OR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR SPARES. IF FIXED IS STILL A GOOD RUNNER SO COULD GET SOME MILEAGE OUT OF IT. THE ENGINE AND GEARBOX ON THE CAR ARE STILL GOOD AND HAVE BEEN WORKING FINE. FULL SERVICE LAST DONE AROUND 70,000 MILES. IT ALSO HAS 3 GOOD TYRES (PERELLI & BRIDGESTONE) WHICH HAVE ABOUT 50% OF THE TREAD LEFT. BODY CONDITION IS FAIR/ POOR. NO RUST BUT PAINT IS STILL A BIT FADED AND SCRATCHED IN SOME PLACES. ALSO HAD A SMALL DING IN THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE BUMPER/PANEL. INTERIOR IS ALSO AVERAGE CONDITION BUT FABIC ON SEATS GENERALLY OK. NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN.
