I am sorry to say that I am selling my much loved Alfa. If I was left to my own devices I"d keep this fantastic and top-spec example of what is in my opinion probably the most stylish and attractive estate car of its time. The car has not missed a beat in the past year that I"ve had it and any apprehension I had regarding buying an Alfa for the first time has thankfully proved unnecessary and unfounded. I enjoy driving this car and from any angle that it catches my eye in the drive, I can"t help but take pleasure in it"s gorgeous design. You rarely see another one in car parks full of BMW"s and Audi"s and for my money it looks better than all of them! We"re only selling this as I am adopting my wife"s Volvo XC90, whilst she get"s a hatchback. Her commute to a rural location including farm tracks and school drop off"s has been replaced by a commute into the city centre with me doing the school run instead. We still want the XC90 for family holidays with the dog, and my wife thinks the Alfa is too big and looks too sporty for her(!?), so whilst my heart says no, my head says it has to go.
After much investigation I searched long and hard for an Alfa that ticked all my boxes of specification and careful ownership. Points of note are a small chip and a scratch on edge of rear bumper, the usual small stone chips on the bonnet and a bit of bubbling/corrosion on the alloy wheels, also some of the lustre silver/grey finish on the roof rails is wearing off in a couple of places. As I said the leather on the drivers seat is showing minimal wear for the age but there is a small scuff on the off-side passenger seat bolster. These small cosmetic blemishes are less than you see on many cars this age and don"t detract from the overall appearance of the vehicle.
Mileage will increase as the car is currently in use. Cash on collection.
