The following essential work was completed by AFH1 (Alfa Romeo specialist based in Mansfield) in May/June 2015. It is fully receipted for £2122.27
There has been over £4000 spent on the car in my ownership getting it back to how it should perform

The brake calipers have been repainted in Ferrari Red with white Brembo lettering

The red lettering on the engine bay has been repainted and rocker and plenum cover polished
Bad Points :
I would rather be honest, they are all small jobs in comparison to what I have had sorted so far mind. I wish I could have fully sorted it but we have to remember it is a 12 year old car, plus it would be boring to have an Alfa Romeo with nothing that requires doing to it : -
The reverse parking sensors only work intermittently, they beep always which is a good sign but just not when they should
Drivers side heated seat switch is not working (a new switch is required, I have been recommended a Mazda RX8 switch as better quality)
Some slight cracking on the paintwork about an inch or so long on the top of the back bumper plus some other light scratches as there would be on any car of its age. I have been quoted exactly £200 to have these and some other light scratches sorted
Unfortunately the previous owner didn"t get the service book stamped in his time of his ownership. He ensured me it was serviced yearly by a now defunct indie in Chesterfield, I forget the name of it, who also fitted the Q2. There are stamps in the book from pre-his ownership and a stamp from AFH1 when they did the service for me including cambelt/top end rebuild (with all invoices)
Overview :

As you can imagine with all the work that has been carried out the engine is as sweet as, with a smooth clutch to add to the fun, it feels like a new car in fact, I suppose it almost is with the money I have spent so far. The Wizard cat back just sets it off perfectly with a sound that has to be heard to be believed, trust me on this one. It sounds out of this world. It has both keys and the log book, service book and manual. It is light on receipts from pre-my ownership but I have made sure it is running again as it should be. I am sure Martin at AFH1 would answer any questions you have regarding the car and the engine rebuild work that has been done, just mention Graham
Any questions feel free to drop me a message. I don"t think I can be any more honest than what I have put in this ad so at least you know if you are interested, exactly what you will be seeing. It has all the work done that are common problems with GT"s of this age/mileage. The head gaskets, cambelt/waterpump and Q2 being the most important. Be very wary about buying an Alfa 3.2 V6 of a similar age that hasn"t had some kind of engine rebuild work done as the head gaskets are a common problem. I know of lots who have bought much higher priced Alfas and been burnt by an extra £2000 plus bill. The Q2 and Wizard cat back are also the two best mods for the car. You will know exactly what I mean if you drive one without beforehand.
