Does your life need a little Cuore Sportivo?
I’ve had this Car for 7 years, and I’m the third owner. She is a pleasure to own and drive, and has been super reliable, and will return 32MPG on a run, bit less than that around town. The Autodelta rear box delete exhaust makes the most of the V6. I’ve loved this car, however a new baby means she has to go – last year she only saw 3,400 miles – so you will notice no service stamp for 2014. 2015 has been a new Cambelt and major service, so no worries there. 
Has to go. This car has been loved since new.
1998 GTV Proteo RED Busso 3.0 24V V6 CF2. Original ALFA registration included.
Brembos, Quaife Limited Slip Diff (Q2), Autodelta stainless exhaust without rear box, GTA clutch and flywheel, powder coated and powerflexed rear suspension. Run on V-Power. Private plate.
New Goodyear Efficient Grip tyres, less than 100 miles on each corner
New Cambelt & tensioners, service, rear springs & bumpstops, radiator, rear toe adjusters, rear brakes.
Interior is in great condition, door cards and bolsters are in really good condition. All dials and lights working, with no warning lights on.
Front wishbones replaced last couple of years, also rear shocks, same with catalytic convertor, and the alternator – which requires the engine to be removed…..

The not so great - This is a loved car, but it is not a New Old Car.
Some lacquer peel on bonnet and front bumper. Wing mirrors could do with need refinishing. Some aged related scratches which will polish out with Mequiars compound. I have been looking for a used bonnet (£60 AutoLusso) and front bumper (£45 Autolusso) to resolve the peeling lacquer issue, although you may choose to wrap the car, or respray her to her former glory. It makes no difference to the performance.
Alloys could do with a refurbish, all straight and true and hold air, no leaks - this year I did not have tyres Nitrogen filled - no real difference I can tell. The radio does work, but the LCD has bled so you can’t really see the display. It’s the original Radio CD! With the V6 I don’t ever use the radio.

The Great - and there is so much Great
Private plate included in sale - why would you buy it without? Busso V6 and Six speed box is as good now as when it rolled off the production line - seriously. Sound as a pound and tighter than a butlers cuff. Do not let the mileage put you off. The Busso V6 is probably the greatest engine Alfa built, and better still with the Q2 differential in the gearbox.The GTA flywheel and clutch lets this engine rev freely, but never until it"s warmed up – do not believe the drive train solid flywheel shunt myth – it does not exist in this car. The Q2 LSD virtually eliminates torque steer – no more NDE’s. Will go like a stung whippet, stops on a sixpence – all with a thundering V6 soundtrack. Bellisimo.
