One previous owner. Part service history. Service books stamped to 47,000 miles. I bought the car three years ago at 66,000 miles. I had the timing belts and water pump changed shortly afterwards. It has had an oil and filter change since. Although in better than average condition for its age the car is not perfect. There is an airbag warning light on which is usually caused by a bad electrical connection and I haven’t had time to investigate and rectify this. The rear wiper needs new blade. The catch to the rear tailgate needs adjustment as it is sometimes difficult to close. There are a few scratches and dents. These are mostly minor although there is a deep scrape and dent in the rear passenger door where the car met a parking bollard and this is shown in the pictures. There is also slight corrosion to the seam to the offside sill but this appears to be just on the surface where paint has chipped off. Both rear passenger electric windows are not working. The car drives very well and unlike many 156s it uses very little oil. No nasty engine or suspension noises although there is a slight creek from the front suspension in cold weather which disappears once the car has warmed up. All four tyres have plenty of tread. It has the desirable roof bars fitted. It has an aftermarket Bluetooth radio which can be coupled to a mobile phone. The leather interior is in good condition with very little wear. Available for viewing to the outskirts of Chester. I would prefer any bidders to see the car as although I believe that I have described it accurately I know from previous experience that some people have expectations that are unrealistic – so if in any doubt at all, at least ask, or preferably come to see the car.  Cash on collection.
