Relisting this Alfa 156 for the second time. So bored of it. I just want rid of it now and i don"t really care what price it sells for. I"m going to put it as spares or repairs not because there is anything particularly wrong with it, I just don"t want some tyre kicker turning up and haggling because there is some lacquer missing from the bumper or something stupid. Anyway, the car is a 156 with low miles and a long Mot (From December 21st 2016). It"s a really lovely drive; handles beautifully with really precise steering, good brakes and a great throaty roar when you floor it. I put it through the MoT just before Christmans when I bought it and needed some welding done on the floor, which was carried out. After that it sailed through with only advisories being that the two bushes on the  front suspension arms  were getting a bit worn and make a bit of a squeak going over speed bumps but were not causing excessive play. There can"t be many Alfa 156"s without that though. I also changed the Aux belt which was squealing on start up. the squeling has now been replaced by a sort of chattering noise on start up which goes away after a short drive.   There is no service history with this car except for the most important bit - a receipt for the cambelt change which was done at 47k along with the water pump. If anything, the car seemed to have suffered from under-use when I got it and everything like locks etc were all a bit stiff. It uses neither oil or water which is a good sign. The bodywork is in pretty good nick. There is the smallest ding on the rear passenger side, probably from a trolley. i have tried to show it in a photo, but it"s difficult. Other than that, there is a tiny crack on the rear bumper and a small patch of laquer also off a corner of the back bumper and a small bubble of rust on the rear passenger door. I have tried to photograph all the various minor dings, but there aren"t many.  The interior is in decent shape although a smoker has had the car at some point. There are blue fabric seats and no rips or tears. There is a crack in the interior trim by the rear passenger side door which i have also taken a picture of, but that is about as much as can be said except some fool has got rid of the floor mats for some weird reason. It has factory fitted Bose speakers which was a bit of an upgrade. All in all, a nice car with below average miles and a long MoT. I"m only selling as i need a car with split/fold rear seats. Didn"t realise it didn"t have "em when I got it. It is an Alfa, so don"t expect perfection, but do expect a nice looking, fun car to drive. Viewings are most welcome. Just please buy the damn thing if you win the auction. It starts and drives, has low miles, a long Mot, cambelt has been changed, clutch is not slipping, brakes work well what more do you want? I haven"t used it for a month now but it still starts on the key.
