Hello and welcome to my auction for my stunning Alfa Romeo 156 V6. The car is in stunning Alfa Red and having only covered just over 39 thousand miles from one previous owner and supplying garage. The body work is still in great condition as you can see from the pictures and is lavished on a very regular basis with protective sealants to help keep it looking glossy and rich. The Tan Momo leather interior is also in fabulous condition with absolutely no wear to the drivers bolster and again is maintained regularly to keep it looking fresh.
The car has also been maintained superbly throughout its life which is documented with loads of invoices and stamps in the service book and benefits from a Cambelt change ( including water pump and tensioners ) Full Service ( including spark plugs and Selenia oil change ) last October 2015. The car was MOT"ed at the same time and passed with no advisories.
Due to being the top of the range model the car boasts features like Air Conditioning ( nice and cold ), Climate Control, CD Player ( multi-changer in the boot ) Heated Seats, Electric Bolster adjustment on the seats, Cruise Control and of course Electric Windows all round with loads of other features which contribute to making this a stunning car to be in and drive.
The Busso designed V6 Engine effortlessly propels the car along with its Semi-Automatic Q-Tronic Gearbox. The Q-Tronic box was designed by Maserati for Alfa Romeo and is a joy to use, It has two modes for normal use. The first is City which lets you cruise gently along with the seamless gear changes nice and low down the rev band which provides better economy, The second mode is Sport which lets the glorious 2.5 litre 24 valve engine sing high into the rev range before changing gear for when you fancy a more entertaining drive. The gearbox"s party trick though is if you flick the gear lever across into manual you have a 4 speed H box with no clutch, allowing you to drive the car as a manual without your left foot depressing a clutch. Simply plant your right foot into the carpet and flick through the gears giving you totally control of the car ( fabulous fun and has to be tried to be seen how good it is )
The car also benefits from a set of ultra rare Momo Alloy Wheels which were professionally refurbished and powder coated in Hyper Silver Finish last November, At the same time a full set of Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres were fitted. Before re-fitting the alloys they were treated to a sealant to protect them, Since this was done the car has only covered around 1500 miles so they are virtually brand new as the picture shows.
To be absolutely honest the only negative points I can find on the car are a couple of very small car park dinks ( to small to show on the pictures ), The front bumper around the Headlight spray blocks has lost some paint and inside the car somebody has removed the stereo previously without the correct tools and has scratched the central console slightly. I"m still using the car so please expect the mileage to change from the picture in the listing.
To conclude, I"ve owned various Alfa Romeo"s over the years and searched for the very best and found it but sadly due to the imminent arrival of a company car something has to give for space and the Alfa is it. So if your looking for the best one out there you"ve just found it and will not be disappointed and would welcome anybody to come view the car and test drive it. I"ve set a price which I consider to be fair but are a realist and understand something is only worth what somebody is willing to pay so if you come and see the car and are seriously interested I"m a sure a deal can be reached to suit both parties.
