I am selling my much loved Alfa 156 Veloce 2.0 litre JTS. It has been my daily driver since May 2016, and has been a comfortable and reliable car that has never left me stranded. It is pretty good condition for its age. It has a full leather interior in good condition with no rips or scuffs. Nice alloy wheels all round. It is fitted with a Witter towbar. I have enjoyed owning it, but when the alternator failed just before the MOT was due I put it in for the MOT. It failed on a few things listed below (you can check online WV05 UJA), and with the alternator as well I decided to call time on the car, and I"ve now got myself a 159. So the 156 has to go.

Aside from the above as I have said the alternator has failed and the garage, when they were checking the car over, told me it has a coolant leak but they couldn"t say where from. The engine warning light was on before the alternator failed. I"d had it checked and turned off, but it came on again. The garage told me it was a catalytic converter sensor, it came on again and I just left it as the car seemed to run perfectly. It has a crack in the rear bumper above the exhaust, a scratch on the driver"s door and the O/S door sill is slightly unstuck at the front and needs sticking back (shown in the photos). The fuel flap is broken but I have a replacement included, plus a can of spray paint.I"ve done something in the region of 30,000 miles in the car and always had it serviced and looked after by the same trustworthy garage. The cambelt has been done since I"ve owned it. I"ve history and bills for the work I had done.The car starts and runs well but will not hold a charge. Selling as spares or repair, no MOT.
