This auction is for my 2004 (04) Audi A3 Sport 2.0 TDI.
I’m getting married in the Summer so unfortunately I need to sell it to raise funds!
 
The car is in very good cosmetic condition, as shown in the pictures.
 
It is MOTed until August 19th 2015
It has only done 100,500 miles and has a Full Service History to support this.
There are 9 stamps in the service book (7 from Audi main dealers) with the last service at 95,167 miles in August 2014.
 
This is the 3 Door, 6 Speed model in Metallic Blue. It is very economical and I’ve been getting around 55MPG from it.
 
I have added an auxillary cable input to the stereo (as this was not standard on these cars) so you can now connect an iPod/MP3 player to the stereo. It is also supplied with two keys.
 
Please note: Although this car is in very good condition cosmetically there are a few minor mechanical things to be aware of and the car has been priced accordingly.
There appears to be an intermittent fault. Most of the time the car drives perfectly well but on a few occassions under very hard acceleration the car goes into ‘limp mode’, which clears itself automatically when you restart. For normal day-to-day driving this hasn’t been a problem as this only seems to occur under very heavy acceleration at 70/80mph and the car returns to normal operation when the ignition is turned off and the car restarted. However I wanted to be honest with a potential buyer as this may need looking at in the future.
The car also seems to lose coolant when driven at dual carriageway speed for extended periods. I have had this checked by two separate garages and neither has been able to find a leak anywhere in the system using a pressure test. I therefore think that this is escaping through the coolant reservoir filler cap but again wanted to make a potential buyer aware of this.
One other weird thing is that occassionally when you lock and alarm the car using the keyfob, if you haven’t actually opened or closed the front passenger door the alarm bleeps . . . opening and closing this door always allows the alarm to be set properly . . . ?
 
The above points might seem a bit picky, but I always believe in being honest and I very much value my 100% positive feedback!
