Re-Badged to Lotus so now it"s a Loton Protus
Really good car to drive, owned it for 2 year or so. Corners really well and pulls surprisingly well. Thanks to Lotus Chassis and Engine head work. Exterior paint is Mercury Grey which if you"re interested is a rare colour for a Proton. Interior is the horrible Champagne Gold colour which to me is closer to old dog sick but you get used to it!
Could do with two new tyres, rears are fine but fronts are a bit shouldered.
Engine Light is currently on, I had it taken off a few months ago but reappeared after I stalled at a junction. The code was not recognised by the OBD-II I used but the car still runs spot on.
Handbrake Light also on - I recently changed BOTH SIDES of cable and it just needs re-adjusting after settling in fully.
Also just had a rear suspension link arm replaced.
Alloys are standard, curbed by the old fella who owned it before me. Only damage is to O/S/R light cluster, does not affect pattern or function - shown in photo.
Great runaround, Can EASILY do 40mpg on Motorway, I"ve hit 65mpg.
Look beyond the badge that is no longer there.The embarrassing stickers are removable! Also has I SWEAR IT"S NOT A Proton show plates that I never got round to fitting. Also rare Proton boot bag.
