vehicle description:

I bought this car from a friend a year ago with the intention of repairing what should be a simple fault but have not had the time and now i need the space.The car smokes on acceleration but settles down if left to idle, the previous owner had a new turbo fitted as he was convinced that was the issue but it was exactly the same after (a few months before he also had a reconditioned gearbox installed, not sure on the reason though)I have done some research into curing the smoking and either egr valve or pcv breather valve seem to be a common fault but im not saying that is the problem.i have included a picture of the smoking after a drive which was holding the engine rpm at 2500. give it a few minutes and it clears.
otherwise, the car has leather seats, electric sunroof, aircon and reversing sensors.the bodywork is in good condition except slight bubbling on the rear arches which is just visible in the pictures and there is a dent in the bonnet from the previous owner which has made one of the kidney grilles loose. also a mark on the tailgate which is also visible in the pictures.all tyres on the car have loads of tread left but one alloy doesnt match the rest for some reason.
this car can be driven away but has no tax or mot currently so would be best if trailered away. its your decision though
