Offered here is a nice example BMW 528i SE. This is a 1999 "Facelift" Automatic 4dr saloon model.
This car has covered 148,689 miles from new but looks like its done 48,000 miles!
Finished in metallic Anthracite Grey with Black leather.
Having had just 2 owners from new the car is in very nice condition throughout and it drives well.
Exterior condition;
The overall appearance of the 528i is excellent.
The paintwork has a deep shine and the original alloy wheels are also in excellent condition. There are only a few very minor age related marks on the car and overall I would suggest that it is in far better cosmetic condition than would be expected for the age and mileage.
The tyres are all in very good condition.
Interior condition;
The interior of this example is very clean throughout. There are no untoward smells or stains.
The seats are Black leather and it has the optional polished Vevona wood dash trim.
The leather seats are in good shape showing only minor age related wear/discolouration.

As you can see this was a very well spec"d example when new. It would appear that all of the features and functions currently still work as they should, including the AC which is blowing nice and cold.

After 2006 the car was self serviced by the second owner. Unfortunately there is no paperwork evidence of this which is a shame but often the case.
The current mileage is 148,689 and the current MOT is valid until 30.08.16. This MOT was carried out on 28.08.15 at 145,526 miles and was issued without any advisory notes.
The BMW is supplied with its original keys (x3) the above history together with some additional receipts/invoices and service book/handbook pack.
Driving the car;
E39 series BMW"s usually drive very well and this one is no exception.
The performance is good and it kicks down well. The 528i is a good balance between performance and economy.
There are no untoward noises or concerns other than a slight wobble from the from brakes when you press the peddle. I suspect that it needs new discs on the front and this will be attended to for the full asking price.
Summary;
Overall this is a well presented E39 5 series.
These cars still look the part in a good colour scheme such as this and they are still modern to use but with that nice retro edge. It wont be too long before they are seen as a genuine classic.
Despite having covered 148k miles and being 17 years old this example is still a head turner. If properly maintained there is no reason why the car won"t offer many more years of excellent service.
It really is a hell of a lot of car for the money.
