True Barn Find here, a true classic and Original as anything!!! -
Up for sale is a BMW 318i LUX Convertible, bought in 2014 from a family who owned it between them for a period of time. This has hardly driven since last year. It was bought at 47,000 miles and now it’s only 48,000 miles.
I looked at numerous other cars before buying this one, and I was so pleased to have found a decent one. Purely bought at the time for the Mileage and because this car was and is still in such good original order I doubt there are many left like this - everything on her was perfect and the car was TOTALLY unmolested, no boy racer had or has ever been near her - she has had responsible owners from new. The only drawbacks I found when I bought her were the exterior which I had restored at a considerable cost and can go into in more detail. She is a 1993 K REG, one of the last ones and is in Red, it’s a Manual 5sp car.
Exterior.
She is presented in Red. All panels are straight and original and when cleaned up she looks stunning. There is NO rot anywhere on the car, all usual E30 weakspots are perfect. The alloys are the BBS cross spokes (best ones) and are in good condition, All 4 have decent tyres. All centre caps are present and BMW badges are too. Car has a good spare. She also has 4 x electric windows and an electric aerial which all work as they should.
Roof (Electric)
The roof is original; it is electric on this Model. The operation of the hood is flawless and is perfect. Roof colour is Black. 
Interior
The interior is as nice as you will find in ANY E30 BMW, it is totally unmarked and as new - there is not a rattle or squeak from anywhere. The seats are the lovely Recaro leather sports seats which are adjustable in every way! The seats are in superb condition, with hardly no wear on them - the usual bolster wear is fine - there isn’t any! Really nice interior - totally faultless. The car has a sound system. All working fine and sounds great.
Mechanics
Service history is more than complete, it has 21 stamps 10 from BMW. The car has covered only 1,000 miles in the last 1.5 years, used as a summer toy only. Cambelt has also just been changed. All INSP services have been done on the button, again faultless history. MOT until July 2015. There are loads of previous MOT’s, invoices and receipts from work done and parts replaced, very comprehensive. The car drives perfectly without fault, I cant see/feel/hear any problems. The exhaust system is fine and sounds lovely, like it should sound - whilst not ott. The car is a 5sp manual, gearbox works fine and shifts faultlessly, the engine still has to kick in.
This really is a fine car - I am an E30 enthusiast and have owned many E30’s – I would without doubt keep her for the appreciation in value but I have another 3 & a 5 series in my garage to factor in the space this one is taking up. I will answer any questions but please make sure you have read the full description, I have been very detailed to allow you all to understand what a great car this is.
