 Here we have for sale is my BMW E46 M3 Coupe in Carbon Black. This is a 2004 model and has been well cared for. The bodywork is in good condition but does have a few age related marks which is to be expected from a 10 year old car. This is equipped with the brilliant SMG II gearbox, changes every gear as it should, has 6 gearbox settings to change how fast and harsh the gears change. The car drives well with no big knocks or bangs. The engine is very torquey and responsive which is to be expected with an engine of this size and nature. This car is high spec and fully loaded with pretty much every optional extra from BMW (see spec list below). This has been well looked after and maintained how it should, it has full service history, the book is fully stamped mostly by BMW main dealer, a couple are a BMW specialist. Many receipts to prove. The last service was the large inspection 2 which is the mostly costly, this is a full check over of the car and most fluids changed and cost £700 at a specialist. The next service is due in 5500 miles and is only and oil change so not costly for the new owner. The car is standard apart from the CSL rep alloys, black kidney grill and side grill and blue angel eyes which make the car look very aggressive. When purchased in put new tyres on the car all round. This is such a comfy car to be in with the heated leather seats, the Harmon sound system is amazing, and is very quick and responsive when you want it to be with the 3.2L 343bhp engine. The M3 private plate is supplied with the car at no extra cost and original plate.
A common problem with the E46 shape especially the M3 due to the torque and power is for the subframe and boot floor to gain micro fractures. This is too hard to look for on a drive way when looking at a car, there is no worries here with this car though as the entire boot floor has been replaced by Lloyds BMW in March 2004 under warranty (approx £5000 of work). If you get a model that is out of warranty then the cheapest you can repair them is by getting strenghtning plates welded which costs atleast £1500. I also had the full rear brake lines replaced which I paid for at the same time as they are common for corroding and breaking. Replaced Front brake pads recently aswell.
