Welcome to this auction for my BMW X5. The car is the sport model - sports leather electric seats 19 alloys (with Pirellies all round) Blue metallic paintwork and a very rare manual gearbox. It took me quite a while to find this one with this spec. The BM is in very good all round condition - bodywork excellent with just one or two minor scrapes and scratches. The engine and gearbox are perfect with a very responsive 3.0 diesel engine which is surprisingly economical for a big suv - about 30 mpg urban and easily 40 mpg motorway.(probably down to the manual gearbox- much better than the automatics) This can be achieved with moderate driving. At the moment there is a notice on the computer which says Self Levelling Suspension Inactive. There is no way that suspension system is faulty (passed the MOT with no problems)- this message was on when I bought the car,I had it diagnosed and discovered it was a sensor. The garage replaced it re-set the computer and the message disappeared. Therefore replacing the other sensor should do the trick - £30 on ebay for a replacement sensor + £20 fittiing.

In my ownership I have had new parking brake cables ad shoes, replaced the heater resistor, and replaced the suspension sensor as described above and fitted a new battery. I have also had an oil service carried out.
So a very extensive service history - any thing that needed doing has been done. The bills (which I have to back all this up, and don"t include the earlier ones) amount to in excess of £16000.
It is not surprising then that this X5 runs and drives like it does - totally immaculate.
