 For sale: one completely standard, unmodified X5 3.0 sport. Selling since my wife no longer needs it, having left her job earlier this year.
It is in very good condition and drives perfectly, in fact it"s almost indecently agile for something as big as it is. Since I have had it it has had some minor repairs - a new steering rack balljoint, a new front tyre for the MOT and a new valve cover gasket to fix an oil leak. That"s all it"s needed and there"s nothing else causing doubts so I think it will go on for a long time yet without any further effort. It"s had a new battery as a precautionary measure too so that"s something else you don"t have to worry about.
There are some scratches in the paint but none really severe, and no rust. The interior is in excellent shape. It is tough black leather and has lasted well, even on the driver"s side.
The air conditioning works just fine, the heaters and ventilation system are all in order and the sound system is working as it should.
It has a full size spare wheel and all the right kit, jack, wheelbrace etc.
It"s not new by any means but for its age and mileage it is in great shape. It passed its MOT in November with an advisory for a rear tyre, but that was all. I can"t see any evidence of a towbar being fitted so it"s never been worked too hard.
