Economical to run due to low insurance and excellent fuel economy
This car was originally bought for my step son over four years ago to use when he passed his test. He failed three times and decided not to drive.As it was a good car I kept it as a spare car and used it my self.
I already have several other cars and parked it up about one and a half years ago as I did not really need it and kept it for my step daughter for when she passed her test. She passed first time , in anticipation I prepared the car for its MOT ready for her to use.Her grandmother paid for a new car for her and this car has not been used by her meaning it is surplus to requirements.This is a shame as I spent a bit of money on it for her which means the new owner is going to benefit from what I have spent on it.
I took the belts and braces approach and replaced anything I thought might need doing to make it safe and reliable for her.
The following items have just been replaced and have only done the millage to the test station : New Battery New Toyo Tyres New Exhaust Silencer New Track rods New Rear Wheel Bearings New Complete Front Suspension Arm
The following items where replaced over a year ago when I stopped using the car and had done zero miles until now when I took it for its MOT : New Driveshafts New Front Springs
In addition the brake system was overhauled about two thousand miles ago and is still like new.
It has just been MOT"D so is covered until June 18"th 2019 Genuine millage of 73257 miles
The car is generally tidy body wise but does have a few blemishes and dents as expected with a car of this age.
It is structurally solid underneath and the engine pulls really well thanks to good maintenance and low millage.
The car has a drivers airbag , electric windows ,Glass sunroof , power steering etc.
The most common problems on Saxo"s are power steering not working and worn rear axle and arms. This car has non of these problems and far as I know everything is in working order.
