For sale my Chevrolet Matiz which has been the most reliable and economical car i have ever owned. Due to a change in circumstances it is now surplus to requirements and needs to go. I am selling the car as spares or repairs as it has a couple of faults that need addressing, however the car starts and drives and is generally in good condition.
I will list all of the issues i am aware of below, however i am not a mechanic and there may be other works required.
The emissions check light has come on and i have been informed by my local garage that it is a stuck EGR valve. I have been quoted £50 to clean or £150 to replace.
The aircon is not working and i have not had it checked.
The alternator belt works but is worn and will need replacing
The car has been serviced regulary during its life but is now overdue and as a minimum the oil and filters will need replacing.
There are a few minor scratches and stone dents but the bodywork is in very good condition for its age.
I have been debating to get the issues fixed but as the MOT and Tax are due to finish and i have not used the car since August i have decided to sell it on.
