“A reliable and luxurious large automatic 7 seater family car in very good condition, equipped to a high specificationand with plenty more life left in it. It has no more wear and tear than you would expect for a vehicle of this age. I'm not aware of any major problems. In the description below, you will find a full list of advisory notices from last MOT in February 2014. In terms of other defects, there are a couple of large dents in offside rear and middle door panel (see photo), there are a couple of minor stone chips on windows (less than 5p coin), it needs a new offside front tyre before next MOT, an small area of window tinting has been damaged (roughly 3 inches by 0.75 inch) and there is a fair amount of surface scratching, a couple of them through the lacquer and the driver sun screen has a broken clip.”

This is a much loved family car that has become too big for our needs, but still has many years of motoring left in it. It an extremely reliable and comfortable car, in very good condition fitted to a very high specification with leather seating and black tinted windows throughout.  It is taxed and MOT-d to the end of February 2015.   Features Fully automatic with a 3301 CC cylinder capacity. Cruise control power assisted steering, electric windows and central locking. Power seat adjuster for driver and heated seats for both driver and front passenger. Temperature control and powerful air conditioning. 7 grey leather seats with adjustable headrests can be configured in a number of different ways: the middle ‘captain’ chairs and rear bench seat will both fold forward or can be removed Remote control wing mirrors - fully operational. Powerful ‘surround sound’ stero system with a radio and tape player.  Sentry Key Immobiliser Front and rear cup holders, storage bins and a luggage rack on the roof. Spare tyre and wheel locking nuts.  All original manuals are available.   Mileage In recent years, it has been used mainly for holidays and at weekends to kids sporting fixtures. Current mileage is 133,700 – readings for the last few years’ MOTs have been as follows: 24/2/14 – 131,173 26/2/13 – 127,103 24/2/12 – 123, 475 9/2/11 -    116,725   History I have owned the car since Feb 2004, when it was a 3 yr old fleet car, driven mainly by me and the Fleet Manager on 600 mile round trips to our North England office. At the time of purchase, its mileage was around 67,000. So although mileage is on the high side, this has been mainly clocked up on motorways.   It has been serviced and MOT-d every year since then and I have paperwork to prove this.   The car has not been involved in any major accidents. In the last 10 years, we have had a minor collision with another vehicle (body damage repaired), a blow out (damage repaired) and recently a couple of large dents on the offside rear panel and middle door panel from reversing at low speed into a low wall (see photo).  I did not consider it economic to repair the dents and instead sanded and painted over the scratches. There is a patch of rust in this area which needs attention.   Recent significant expenditure includes: -  Feb 2013, new battery, new front brake pads and brake caliber - June 2012, new radiator and water pump     MOT advisory items At the last MOT (24 Feb 2014) which it ‘sailed through’, there were a number of advisory items: -       nearside & offside front Anti-roll bar deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement -       nearside & offside Tie bar/rod rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement -       nearside & offside brake pipe slightly corroded -       offside front tyre worn close to legal limit -       rear anti-roll bar corroded but not seriously weakened -       nearside and offside rear brake hose has slight corrosion to ferules -       vehicle structure has slight corrosion   Since the last MOT, there have been no new developments and I am not aware of anything seriously wrong with it, though it will definitely need a new offside front tyre before next MOT, maybe nearside front as well, (though rear tyres are relatively new).   For interest, test results were as follows: Fast idle CO – 0.1% (fast idle) / 0.01% (natural idle) HC 25ppm vol / - 1.002   There are number of other minor items to be aware of -       a couple of minor stone chips (less than 5p piece size on windscreen) -       drivers sun visor left hand clip is broken -       rear wiper blade needs adjustment -       there is a visible large scratch in the window tinting (around 3inches by ¾ inch) on rear offside side door -       quite a lot of surface scratching around the sides (caused by tree branches), and a couple of minor scratches on the bonnet that go through the lacquer
