Saxo VTR 1.6 8V Little over 100K miles Mot until Feb 20156 months taxLoads of service history and receipts etc.No rust! No play anywhere, recent IM rear axle. No leaks. All electrics fine.
Chassis- Baker BM Group N Engine Mounts and Gearbox mounts, including poly gearbox fork buffer.IM Axles Oilite Rear Beam with Polybushes.GAZ GHA Coilovers, good condition, no knocks etc. All of this combined does make the car vibrate a lot on idle, however also makes the car amazing in the corners.   Brakes- 266mm Brakes up front. Recently replaced Pagid front pads in May. Recently replaced rear discs and pads with Pagid items.Braided lines front and rear.DOT 5 Fluid.
Engine/Drivetrain- Piper 4-1 Stainless Manifold (New gasket now fitted end of May) Supersprint centre section and Kam Racing outwardly rolled back box. All new gaskets when fitted and all exhaust hangers/mounts are Poly. VTS Gearbox, no crunching etc. Puts the power down much better than the long VTR box.New Valeo clutch kit fitted with gearbox in January 2014. All the above fitted with new seals etc and filled with fresh gearbox oil.OBP Quickshift.Kam Racing Adjustable Linkages.Roll pin recently replaced.Clutch cable and end link recently replaced.Brand new rocker cover gasket.   Wheels- C2 Steelies 15” 15mm Hubcentric Spacers on the rear.As new Uniroyal Rainsport 3 Tyres, fitted in April.   Interior- Phase 1 Cloth 106 GTI seats with matching grey cloth door cards.OMP 300mm steering wheel and D1 spec snap off boss. Recently fitted Pioneer front component speakers and JBL 6x9’s fitted neatly in parcel shelf all connected to a JVC Headunit.   General- New battery fitted in December 2013 along with a new terminal connector. De-aerial bung. Radio still works well. 20cm Sun strip.Team HEKO wind deflectors fitted properly.Has had things like driveshafts and droplinks replaced in the past year also.   Downsides- No A, B or C pillars and a few age related marks as to be expected. Could do with a new idle control valve (£35 from euro car parts) Other than that this is a very capable and well specced cheap hatch which is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
