Selling on behalf of my Father in Law, who doesn"t have a EBay account.His much loved Citroen Xsara 1.8 VTR, registered 2001, which he has owned since new.He has now decided to give up driving, being 80 years young, so wants to sell his car before he changes his mind!The car has covered a genuine 73,000 miles with previous MOTs and service history, mainly by main dealer.It"s recently had 2 new front tyres, which have covered less than 1000 miles, the rear tyres still look like new too.The car has some small, age related marks, but the paintwork shines beautifully, as can be seen in the pictures.MOT"d until 12th January 2017, and I am sure will last the next owner many years, there isn"t a spot of rust anywhere.This is an honest, genuine, straight car and a pleasure to drive.As you can imagine, with an elderly Gent at the wheel, the car has never been abused or mistreated in any way, so will be a bargain for someone.There is some slight wear on the front seat bolsters, and a professional repair was done at some stage, but the stitching has come undone slightly.The Nearside door mirror housing has a crack in it, as pictured.The hatchback handle, by the lock has a crack in it, but does not effect the lock at all, as it doesn"t move.Recently the heater blower has started to blow on full speed only, which after reading some forums, is due to a faulty thermistor on the blower motor, but I have no electrical knowledge, so haven"t been able to do the repair.
