This is a great example of a Daihatsu Copen. This is my wife"s car, which sadly she is no longer able to drive owing to a back condition. We bought this car new from West End Garage near Guildford on September 1st 2007. Since then, it"s been serviced every year and there is a full service history. The car has covered just 42,600 miles and has had no major mechanical problems. This car has the 1300 engine which, in my view, is a better bet than the earlier overstressed 650cc turbo version. It"s also the upmarket version with leather seats, MoMo steering wheel and chrome gear knob. The colour is "champagne" - a pale metallic gold. Given the age of the car and the fact that it"s been used day in day out, it"s not in showroom condition. There are a few minor blemishes in the paintwork and the wheels have some marks on them. But overall it"s in great condition and if you are looking for a Copen you will be hard put to find a better one. The car sailed through its MOT a few weeks ago and we have just fitted new front tyres. We shall be sad to see the car go but it"s not getting used enough now.
