vehicle description:
This engine was built by a Historic Lotus specialist for use in a Series One Lotus Seven competition car some years ago, but has not been run. Many of the ancillaries were either new or thoroughly overhauled. It has twin 1 1/2” SU carburettors.
It would suit many Lotus and other variants, including TVR and has all the mountings for use in a Lotus Seven S1.
Coupled to the engine is a ribbed case BMC A series gearbox which has been professionally rebuilt and an AP competition clutch.
