hi welcome to the sale of our 1992 1.6 elxi diahatsu sportrack.
first things first (sorry) but due to the huge amount of time wasters on here
please come and test drive it first, i am fed up of people winning an auction only to either not turn up or turn up and say its not what they thought.
please feel free to message me to come and have a look and drive, there is nearly always someone in here so we can be as flexible as you need.
we live in wimborne dorset (bh21) so if you cant get here to test drive then this auction is not for you.
ok on with the details of the car.
6mths MOT and TAX on it.
we bought this car in june this year to take food and bedding to our pigs and that is the only thing we have used it for (7miles each way).
we are now selling this to buy our daughter her first car ( no swaps ;))
it has starts first time every time and drives and stops fine.
the gearbox is fine,with it going in and out of all gears as it should.
the 4X4 engages and disengages as it should.
it has 4 good tyres (the spare is flat).
it uses no water or oil.
it comes with a DAB radio and a CB radio, both are fully working.
it has laqure peeling off on one wing and (alot) on the passengers door.
it has dents and scratches all over and a couple of patches of rust.
the car is sound underneath and looks fine for the next MOT.
someone (me) has put a stupid aftermarket air filter on it so it turns heads when driving by (i have the original filter and air box for the winning bidder).
the tail end of the exhaust seems to of sort of disintegrated away?
but it doesnt affect the sound or running of the car and was like it for the last mot.
it is tatty everywhere but there is loads of life still left in it.
it is fun to drive (though if you have back or neck problems you may want to pass this one by).
it never fails to make me smile when i drive it but needs must and all that.
in closing this car has been great and has caused us no trouble at all.
