We brought this car for my daughter and we"ve had it for 2.5 years and it"s been reliable and economical transport. Genuine reason for sale as my daughter has a new car so this old favourite has to go.
The only work it"s required during our ownership other than routine servicing was a pair of rear wheel bearings [08/16] and replacement front brake calipers [09/16].

Not so good bits:Heater is not working. Our mechanic has advised it is a blocked heater matrix. Occasionally you get a waft of hot air but not regularly. Fan works fine. We haven"t bothered to investigate further as my daughter has a new car, but it was working last spring.Door lock on passenger side has been pushed into door - see photo. It was vandalism while parked outside my daughters home when at University. The central locking and front electric windows still work fine. The lock is inside the door - you can hear it rattling but haven"t bothered with it as everything works fineSome age related "dinks" and a visible scratch on the rear passenger door, see photoHole in the carpet beside the clutch caused by previous owner - see photo. Is easily covered by a drivers mat and causes no issues2nd gear can be "notchy" but works fine. If you know these cars & we"ve had three, you"ll be aware they suffer from wear in 2nd gear over time. Not an issue once you"re used to it! This is good honest transport and these cars are much better than you might believe . We would have kept it but with four other cars in the household it needs to go.
