Due to my finances improving and the purchase of a lovely new car.. I am selling my little 796cc Matiz, Yorix who is a deceptively roomy, nippy little beast of a car that performs very very well, easy to park surprisingly roomy inside, ideal first/town car. He has just 73563 miles on the clock, has never let me down. I have had the front end of exhaust replaced, including the cat. A new battery and new tyre. (The others are in good condition too) Insurance group 5 means it"s cheap to insure & run, economical on fuel. He has a JVC CD/MP3 player, He has electric front windows, Alloy Wheels and the interior is good for the age (Non smoker means he smells as fresh as a daisy) The rear seats fold back and makes a surprisingly roomy and useful space.
The not so good points: It failed the Mot with an imbalance in the rear brakes. I"m assured this isn"t an expensive job, Having bought a new car, busy with work and living in the middle of nowhere, I just haven’t got the time to fix before selling, therefore I"m selling on a spares or repair basis.
There is also an Advisory on the thinning front brake pads/ and minor Exhaust gas leak. However as stated,I have had front half of the exhaust replaced inc the Cat last year so it isn’t the expensive end that’s leaking! It also has a fine scuff in an arc on the windscreen, see photo, It"s not deep, doesn"t affect driving view nor MOT. There are small rust bits appearing on the wheel arch see photo.
