Right well this is really gutting for me as im having to sell my Daihatsu Fourtrak as i have just lost my job and as this was the last toy i bought its gonna have to be the 1st one to go, (xbox one is next).
i bought this from a friend about 2 months ago as i fully planned to join him on some offroad adventures as he had bought a disco.if your looking for a show winner and super shiny vehicle then this is not it!!!!if you looking for a super capable go anywhere vehicle then this is it!
this vehicle has not got a straight panel on it but dont let that put you off as this is the nature of the hobby.i was gonna matt black the whole thing.it belonged to my friend fro about 7 years and in that time he estimates 6-7 thousand pounds has been spent on it and maintenance. it has up rated suspension, massive off road tyres, i believe that it has had a bigger inter cooler fitted, massive winch bumper, snorkel, different leef springs, recon gearbox and im sure there is a lot more.
the seats have been removed and replaced with cobra buckets and half of the underside has been under-sealed. there is a virtually no rust on the body work.
this has been driven through water that covered the bonnet and no problems. it has got rear seats but no belts and a set of 6x9s. i have a little bit of paperwork and history i have the v5 and this is in my name and i am the 4th owner, the other owner is also a friend and he owned it for around a year before selling it and the original owner was a farmer.it has done just over 82k kms which is about 50k miles which is not bad for a car almost 25 years old.
sadly the vehicle has no mot and has not had one since last year as the master brake cylinder on the rear has gone and needs replacing, its only a £35 part and it would also need a rear fog light as this was smashed off when out in a quarry. the wiring for it is stil in place and is another easy fix.
i did drive it a and it drives fine with no problems aside from the brakes.this will need to be trailored away
no reserve as it has to go to help pay the mortgage while i sort out work.
