 Here is my Daihatsu Fourtrack, TDX 7 seater ...I bought this last year to pull a trailer tent..I must admit it pulled it like there was nothing there!! ..I also towed a caravan for the first time this year and it didn"t bat an eyelid! ...sadly it"s now up for sale due to moving to a smaller property and it will have to be parked on the road ...some sad sad person has already put a scrape all down one side !!!!!! ..see pic....( also 3 vehicles in the family already! )
It has 134,000 miles, starts first time, runs really well, and never gets hot, has good tyres, the interior is very good with little wear on the drivers seat although it needs a good vac clean....
I had some welding done this year on the rear cills for the mot, and it has a full test now.
Fourwheel drive works great in high and low range. it is fitted with spotlights that are really good, and the heater is great!
some things worth mentioning...
The mot flagged up advice on the balljoints and some other corrosion, but this could wait until next test, the gearbox seems to whine a bit but could just be the chunky tyre noise?..I purchased a good second hand gearbox just in case and this will be included in the sale.
The rear axle has an oil leak from the output flange thingy...also the gearbox has a leak from the propshaft seal.
The car is taxed till end of May, it would make a good towing vehicle for your horsebox (or trailer if you are renovating a property etc.) or a good shooting vehicle.
Please don"t expect a new car for this money ...it is a good VERY reliable workhorse.
