Here we have our old faithful DaihatsuFourtrak. It was bought by me as a temporary stand in whilst waiting for a replacement Range Rover. It does everything as it should - starts without drama hot or cold, does not smoke, does not leak oil or water, Clutch is excellent, all synchros are good, 4x4 ratios all work correctly, tyres are all good, brakes are efficient. Now the not so good, we put it in for MOT yesterday. It had a couple of minor issue fails but principally it failed on chassis welding. The garage quoted about 1 days work including removing the carpets to facilitate welding. This truck is too good to break for parts, so is offered either for off road farm use only or to the DIY welder. You can try this truck on our land and we will deliver locally for 50p a mile round trip if this helps. This truck is priced to sell at £850.
