Daihatsu Fourtrak TDL SE
This is an auction for a P reg dependable workhorse /towing vehicle the Daihatsu Fourtrak.
 
There are a few marks and scratches as you would expect for a vehicle this age. The worst is a dent on the passengers door but generally it looks quite tidy as you can see from the photos.
Mechanically it all seems very good with the engine,  gears, clutch etc etc. She starts on the button whatever the weather. Just heat once and she is away. She does not smoke after starting and the engine sounds good. I have the book with service history.
 
There are some spots of surface rust as you would expect but the sills and chassis are sound. I asked a qualified mechanic to look underneath and he confirmed that there will be no issues with rust for the next MOT. There are a lot of rust buckets out there and I am not saying there is no rust on this one but it is currently sound. The previous owner used to wax oil it every year.
 
She drives nicely for one of these and not too sloppy.
 
The truck has covered 167k but these will go on for well over 200k and more. It has a tow bar and will legally tow 3.5 tonnes which is the most you can with this type of vehicle and the same as landrovers and much bigger cars.
 
The interior is a little scruffy  but certainly presentable with wear on the front seat but this is covered with a seat cover. It is not filthy or smelly like some of these trucks
