It is with great regret that we have to offer ourSubaru Impreza up for sale. Due to circumstances beyond our control we must let this vehicle go to a new owner to finish the project we begun earlier this year.
Purchased as a road going Subaru Impreza, this was one of the original Prodrive Built UK spec cars that came from the Richard Burns Championship Winning era.
The car came from a previous owner in fantastic condition with an engine that runs as sweet as the flat four allows. The only areas of notice were certain rust spots under the paint on the wings which we had planned to sand down and completely respray the exterior anyway.
The vehicle is the second build by VrDMotorsport who stripped down to the shell and sent away to the Rally Industries leading specialist Lewis Rally Sport.
At Lewis Rally Sport no expense was spared to being this incredible build with the following upgrades fitted :
-       Fia international spec cage through to turrets
-       Complete Seam weld of interior bay
-       Welded Fia seat rails
-       Custom Hydraulic handbrake mount
-       Full interior spray in white
-       Complete alloy rear fire bulk head
-       Harness mount points
-       Custom Fit Dashboard flocked in Black
The vehicle returned to VrDMotorsport to finish the build where it remains today.
The current status of the vehicle is a none runner. The main wiring harness requires fitting and a custom ECU fitting (required) to bypass the immobiliser system currently blocking the crankshaft signal.
It is well know that a programmable ECU is the best steps to be competitive with this vehicle over the standard STI unit so an easy step for someone in the know to get the vehicle running and out on stage.

-       Uprated competition Turbo Wastegate
-       Stainless Steel race decat race exhaust with Prodrive Rally rear silencer
-       OMP Rally Steering wheel and boss kit
-       Spare Manual Transmission
-       Spare Driveshafts
-       2 x complete wiring harness
-       STi ECU standard mapped
-       Interior door cards from standard vehicle
There is possibly more equipment not listed and anything else we have for this car is all in the bundle.
For an additional fee we can do the following:
-       Supply and fit a custom ECU to make the vehicle run (£1500)
-       Complete the build to your rally spec (£POA)
As you can see from the spec we have not held back on setting this vehicle on its way to becoming a true classic. Once finished the value will not only increase significantly you will also have a class leading rally car on your hands.
Due to events we are competing in through 2016 we have to let this one go and focus on other builds so please take care of her and ensure she goes to a good home. She will be missed terribly.
