Reluctant sale of my Excellent condition Lamborghini Gallardo.
Black, right hand drive and manual so a very desirable (if not the best!) combination. Surely can only increase in value.
MOT to end of May 2019 (no advisories), comprehensive service history and a huge amount of recent work, meaning despite this most likely being the cheapest RHD manual on the market, there is no expected imminent expense for the new owner. Ready to enjoy and in lovely condition. Private number plate (slightly resembling Gallardo!) included.
HPI clear, never been in an accident or stolen and no finance outstanding.
It has had a huge amount of work recently (including a service just a few hundred miles ago) and drives without fault. Notable work/service items include the following (all done during 2018):
- Brake discs removed all round and professionally inspected and cleaned. Checked for true. Pads checked, all OK (has EBC yellow stuff pads).
- New handbrake pads fitted.
- Brake fluid changed (ATE TYP 200 fluid).
- Coolant fluid changed (Prestone).
- Gearbox and front diff fluids changed (Redline MT90 75W90). Did alot of research on the best possible oil, this option comes highly recommend and despite not being cheap, transforms the gear change feel (second gear from cold is fine) and prevents the front diff shudder on full steering lock which is common.
- New fuel filters (Bosch).
- New oil filter (OE Lamborghini).
- Oil change (Shell Helix Ultra 5 40).
- New air filters (OE Lamborghini).
- New MAP sensor (OE Bosch).
- New spark plugs (later spec NGK PFR 7G 11S).
- Throttle bodies cleaned.
- Repair and re-route wiring to NSF wheel speed sensor (common fault that the cable snaps).
- Recondition OSF lower ball joint including grease nipple fitted.
- Wheel alignment checked (Ok).
- Overall underside check for worn/damaged parts (such as suspension components, steering rack gaiters etc.) - all ok.
- New battery.
- Engine detailing work (see pictures, looks lovely, especially in comparison to some of the other cars on the market).
Condition overall is Excellent – especially considering how competitively priced the car is! Wheels pretty much perfect, tyres good, bodywork pretty much perfect etc. Engine bay very clean and looks lovely. Interior condition very good with no more than usual wear commensurate with age and miles (there’s no rips, tears or notable marks). Everything works as it should, electric windows, stereo, sat nav etc. It also has Bluetooth phone connection. It has a tracker installed.
Drives faultlessly as you would expect of a car of this calibre.
Comprehensive service history is present, along with various receipts from over the years to back-up the stamps in the original book. 3 keys are present along with all of the usual manuals, the v5 is present and registered in my name and address.
Sensible miles for year (59,000) and as owners of cars of this nature will vouch for, a frequently used car often proves much more reliable than those with very low mileage.
Although this is a private sale you can rest assured that the sale will be handled professionally (I will provide invoice, you will see v5 is registered to my name and address, I’m happy to show ID etc.). The car is completely standard and clearly in great condition (as you can see from the work done, no expense has been spared in looking after the car), but if you did want a pre-purchase inspection report on the car I’m happy to discuss how this could work (by that stage I would expect a deposit on the car subject to satisfactory report).
Selling due to a recent house move and the need for something more sensible. For this reason a straight sale is much preferred but I may consider a lower value car in part exchange.
