where to begin..its like selling a child !!
A Ferrari 308 is up there as one of  or the  most beautiful cars ever made...well unless you have 70 to 100k to spend you will never own one....
. here is your chance to have the next best thing...this is not CHEAP  kit car, nor was it ever a small japanese shopping trolly with moulded plastic panels stuck on, (how embarrasing driving around with such a car..its like a fake rolex...dont you agree )
on the other hand, you could own this ......
the car has been sat for 10 years, it is free rolling but im of the opinion the engine is too well stuck..although only 50k on the clock, id sooner replace it and or repair the original...(as per pics the car comes with a spare 2.8 fiero with running engine for spares)...FOC
as you can see the car has proper 308 rear skirt and split rim wheels with recent lips, the pirellis are low miles but due to standing i would change them when its ready for the road...Ferrari seats...
wonderful item to own and way way better than a replica mr2 effort....you can hold your head high driving this car as a very rare collectable motoring asset...i have a reciept and advert for when it was purchased for 13995 GBP...apparantly enzo himself sued PONTIAC thru the american supreme court and halted production of the factory,hence the rareity of this model.

come see it, its great to look at and see for yourself ..it needs recommisioning but what a beautiful project...only for sale due to lack of time and storage..(with great sadness)..you could look at this on your drive or in your garage for hours...
needs and warrants a new a paint job...interior refurb etc..but you do have a full car worth of spares... an engine change is super easy only 3 bolts.... get a buzz gun loosen the rear springs and its out.!!!
i am gutted to sell....i would consider an interesting px..american, harley, motorhome etc...

updatefirstly, thanks to all of you who have got in touch re the car, from as far away as australia i may add...iam now a fair bit wiser on what it is, and the history of it...so i will pass on this info i have recieved, iam getting around 15/20 questions a day and offered a lot of nice cars, thank you...please feel free to ask..i may just decide to do it..
the car was manufactured in 1985..PONTIAC took factory new cars from 1987 year and sent them away on special order to MERA who reproduced the fiero as a replica of the 308 Ferrari..only new cars and only fieros, much like you would get when you order a dayvan etc..NO bodykits were produced or sold commercially.My car, after being asked a hundred times, has no badge on it saying mera, but..a car collector has suggeSTed my car has a longer snout, and may well be some sort of prototype as if you compare the mera version , my car looks longer...LOOKS better if you ask me..and more realistic !!!...but please..the internet is open, as is the mera sites in the U.S do your own research ..make your own mind up about this..then decide if this rare car is for you.
The car is nearly  30years old...its not new, and references `to does the air con work` and `central locking, power steering alright mate` are becoming tedious, i wont lie under it and take pics of chassis either...the paint is wet in the pics and dulls down, it will need a respray, if your serious you will know that...if you want a car that looks two bob then buy an mr2.
the engine...i have an enthusiast who has a top end, honed with pistons and racing cam to fit the car, which would save removing engine, he is prepared to swap for the gearbox from the donor, which is brilliant, i have lee`s number which winner can have...i wont swap the engine and dump the rest as your` missus wont allow two cars`, again..please think this thru b4 messaging methere is no substitute for viewing..if you choose not to then i understand but thats up to you...this is a great car..very rare....needs refurbed..but will only ever go up in value..once done would not look out of place in portofino, peurto banus..among the super rich..with shoestring running costs.
