One EXTREMELY RARE 2 LITRE Ferrari Dino 208 GT4 Rolling Bodyshell, complete with steel doors, bonnet, rear engine cover, boot lid, windscreen, rear window. Chrome window surrounds, (I"m told that the front windscreen surround is worth £1000 at least!!). CAR IS/WAS GRIGIO COLOUR with BEIGE interior. Beautiful colours for the Bertone Wedge design. NOVA import paperwork is with the car showing all Taxes and Duties Paid. The NOVA is in my own name.
The Interior is beige cloth and vinyl, front and rear seats are in very good condition. Dash and centre console are with the car, so are the carpets. The rear parcel shelf is included too. Headlining and visors are with the car.
Body has been prepped and primed but other projects and illness are forcing me to sell. This is a very solid chassis that has been dry stored in the USA.Most parts are with the car. It is fully rolling and steering. It has the Dino plaque on top of the steering column with the chassis number on it. Original steering wheel too. Pedal box is in the car. The wheels are TRX wheels. It was fitted with air conditioning and the air con boxes are still in place. The pop up headlamps are with it, as are the surrounds and lights and headlamp motors. Seatbelts are included.
The bodyshell and body panels are located in Staffordshire, England. Buyer to collect but the bodyshell and panels could be delivered at an extra cost.
The 2 Litre V8 engine will need a rebuild. I"m not sure of its condition but it is the correct engine for this car. There isn"t a gearbox but I know of a few available for circa £2000.
I have the correct under valance, bumper rubbers, front and rear lights, rear quarter light windows, door locks, boot lock, pretty much everything is there to rebuild the car. The only items that I know are not with the car are the instruments. I know of a set available if you need them. This is a really rare car and very good examples are selling for up to £70,000. Considering this against a Lamborghini Urraco which is now north of £100,000 then these cars are a bargain. The GT4 design has really come into its own over the last few years. I"m sure that this model will continue to appreciate. So many have been broken up over the years for spares.
