Ferrari 308 GTS 1978 rare carburettor version with full power unlike the lower powered injection models.Pininfarina styled and introduced at the 1975 Paris show.Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti of Boxer and Daytona fame.Became the most recognised and iconic Ferrari road cars.
Completed in 1978 this carburetted version wears correct Blue Sera metallic (metallic evening blue) over Sicuro Blue leather interior.  Air con and power windows.Delivered new to a Mr Schade of Texas then to Mr Charles of Texas who owned the car until 2005
Today is nicely preserved fitted with 7.5 x 14 Cromordora wheels.  Excellent interior and gaps, front and rear bays are  as original, with spare assemblyretaining straps, cover in the luggage compartment and original tools and emergency roll.  Brochure, Manuals etc, radio, solid power plant 175 lbs compressionon all cylinders.  Refreshing colour scheme. Just had new belts and service at Ferrari main agent.
3 owners from new, the last a Texas Collector 16,900 odometer miles.  No rust, full mot and UK registered.
Now a type of car difficult to find and tremendous value.
