I have owned the car 2 years this year and it has been excellent. Done local shows and a few long trips, it creates a lot of attention.This car is not a MR2 or MG conversion but one of around 200 built to be a Dino replica.Measurements are very close to the real 206. This is a 1994 build and is number 073 of the build.MOT due December 2016 - No advisories on current MOTThis car even has the twin fuel tanks like the Dino.
In my ownership I have done the following;
Dash covered in suede type materialReplaced some of the gauges to veglia borletti ones - all gauges work but the speedo need calibrating it reads too highFitted a second cooling fan to the radioator, both fans are manually operatedReplica cromodoras with Pirelli"s all roundDisc are like newAll locks workLot of parts from superformanceAll bills from day 1 including the original bill of sale and all build documents and plans are available - there is a box file full of the cars historyEngine is an Alfa V6 3.0 12v - fantastic engine serviced with shell oils twice in my ownershipAll plugs changedCambelt has done less than 1000 milesBox 5 speed AlfaMechanicals were put in 7500 miles ago, both super cleanEngine has always ran on Vpower in my ownershipThe push button start I was told is Ferrari as is the steering wheel?Paint work is excellent for a 1994 car, the odd stone chip is touched in here and thereRoof is in 2 parts and stows away in the boot12v isolator fittedAdjustable avo coilovers fitted all roundCallipers refurbed before my ownership
My next job on the car would be to fix stainless bumpers and turn the one piece engine cover into two pieces like the real Dino. I have a picture of a prototype 206 with a one piece lid so was happy with it as it is for now.
Great car only being sold to finance house refurbishments.
