*** Please see picture 9,10,11 and 12 these are all the parts that are for the car that need to be fitted***
Unregistered
Car, all Nova and UK duty and VAT paid, paperwork to prove. I also have the original
title from Michigan in USA so you can register the car in the UK. Car hasn’t
been used since 2013, it was parked up in 2013 and was sent in for a full
repaint and hasn’t been used since. I was told the cambelts were done at the
same time but i have no proof about the cambelts, but i still would change them
anyway even though it done zero mileage since they were changed Ferrari still
recommend them doing every 3 years. The body work on the car is great no rust at all. There is some
surface rust on the battery tray, which is very easily sorted, the battery is
totally shot so i will buy and included a new battery for the new owner.
The car
is bright shiny Ferrari Rosso red it looks good, there is some light scratches here and there from
storage and shipping etc. The car is from 1985 so please expect some minor
marks / wear and tear etc. When the car went in for a respray it wasn’t put back together
properly there is loads of trim etc that just needs putting back on also some other
exterior bits windows trim, grills, rear grill etc, i have all nearly all the
bits i think, the only things i know i don’t have is the drivers front bumper corner, sunroof ( currently has pallet wrap over the sunroof to stop moisture getting in, looks very classy on a Ferrari) and a fog light, everything else looks to be there. It’s mainly the interior that
needs a good clean and putting back together a few bits of wiring need plugging
back in, a few marks and bits need sorting like windows and locks setting up, its a great project and just needs time spending on it. Basically, the respray was completed but just put back together fully.
Mechanically
the car drives and sounds great changes gear steers and stops, as its not been
driven in about 7 years it will need a going over. At the point of the car been
shipped over it did start on the key but now it doesn’t i don’t know whether it’s
gotten moisture in and is effecting a connection, it does bump start and it doesn’t
jump start so the issue is with the starter motor it can’t be anything to
major.
All in
all this is an amazing basis for whatever you want to do with the car, there is
a few option really you could get it all registered and the bits sorted, the
main issues sorting the bits i would say is just time as nearly all of the
parts are there so it just needs somebody’s time to clean in the interior and
put the car back together or break the car, now breaking the car would be a
massive shame as the car is stunning and miles to good for that but you could
make a killing breaking it you only have the look on there is only a few
people breaking them and the money they are charging for the parts is crazy.
This is a
great project and if it hasn’t gone in a month i will keep it, these cars are
not going down in value at all there only going up. I’ve got 2 other projects
on the go and we will be moving house and with 3 children not really got much
time at the moment, however i no what it’s worth, i would rather sell it but if
it doesn’t sell i don’t mind keeping it and ill sort it all out when i can it’s
a great investment.
Before
writing this advert i looked on and other places to see how much these are
going for and people are selling fake Ferraris for more which is insane this is
a real Ferrari and probably the cheapest Ferrari in the Europe.
Car will
need to be trailered away, please no timewaster or scammers This is for the
sale of the most glamorous car brand in the world, This is one of the lastFerraris Enzo Ferrari designed before he died. Also, the V8 engine in the back
of this car is the same as what went into the early 1980"s F1 cars.
I have a video aswell of the car running starting on key before the issue with the starter motor i can send this to you if you wish.
