Relisted due to time waster (sople soph, a car dealer from Flintshire) who has made no contact and failed to answer any of or emails/texts.
The building where the Fiero is stored is being converted to a house with the work due to start in the next few weeks, so a quick sale and collection is required.
This is an almost unique car with expensive exotic looks yet very reasonable running costs. It was professionally built by Fiero Factory of Bromsgrove, as their demonstration vehicle, using a 2.8 litre mid engined V6 Pontiac Fiero with a manual gearbox. Pontiac made the Fiero from 1984 to 1988 as an affordable yet very advanced space frame construction with composite body panels. The lightweight compact V6 engine is mid mounted, fuel injected and mated to a 4 speed manual Getrag gearbox. Total weight was less than 1200 kilos, resulting in under 8 second 0-60, excellent handling and good fuel economy. Parts are readily available and surprisingly inexpensive.  For those of you wanting to push the boundaries it may be of interest to note that it"s common practice to convert Fieros to GM"s 3.8 litre supercharged V6 or a number of American V8"s including the legendary small block Chevy. The Gearbox and drivetrain in these is reportedly good to handle over 400 hp! This means this could be built to out perform the Ferrari Testarossa on which it is based. Just a thought!!
The car we are selling is an unfinished project. The engine runs strong and sounds awesome. There are no signs of smoke, and we know of no serious engine or drivetrain problems. The brakes however are totally inoperable. drivers side front and rear calipers have seized and one hose has a bad leak. We have remove the brake pads in order to move the car around under it"s own power. We believe this car has stood unused for a number of years prior to our purchase.The following items need attention:1. Brakes need complete overall (caliper rebuild kits are included)2. Passenger door exterior handle is not working. Door can be opened from inside.3. Paintwork is faded to varying degrees on every panel. Almost every panel has some form of damage from small scratches to blistering to the more serious bits shown in the photos. This car will need to be resprayed.4. 2 door window rubber weatherstips are perished and will need to be replaced.5. The battery tray is corroded and will need to be replaced.6. Some of the dash gauges are not working.7. The electric fuel pump runs continuously.8. There is no stereo, battery or spare wheel included.(we know of no other issues but we are not mechanics or car experts) 
Now for the good bits! 1.This is a running project with good engine, clutch, and gearbox.2. Exhaust note is awesome.3. All the major electrics are working. 4. All the glass is good. 5. The interior is very good. The seats are excellent, but the carpet is a little faded.6. There appears to be no major rust issues to the structure, just a little surface rust. 7. No rust to the bodywork at all as all panels are composite or fibreglass8.  V5 (logbook) and 2 sets of keys are included.
 To summerize; This is a very achievable project with the potential to be a stunning replica of a £100,000+ supercar with saloon car running costs.We strongly recommend any potential buyers to view before buying. This vehicle is sold as seen with no warranty and no returns accepted.The winning bidder will be expected to contact us within 24 hours of auction finish and to pay strictly cash on collection.Obviously the car will have to be trailed away. we would prefer the car to be collected within 7 days because of the loss of storeage.
