A VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE ONE OF THE MOST EXACTING REPLICAS  OF THE Ferrari Testarossa  EVER MADE.
Before any one is thinking of bidding for this THIS IS NOT A COMPLETED CAR AND MUST BE CONSIDERED AS A PROJECT.
I acquired this car recently but the pressure of work and family and the amount of work the car requires has brought home to me that I really will not be able to give the time and effort this great replica requires….
The car is based on a Pontiac Fiero and produced by an American kit car company called Italian Image in Florida. From what I understand, the car was built as their UK show car (from a 1984 Fiero) and imported from Florida for the 1990 Stoneleigh Kit Car Show. After the show the car was partly soft striped and the engine /gearbox removed (and lost) along with the interior some other parts. I understand this was done to improve quality and get it ready to be registered in the UK (which didn’t happen!)
By 1993, Italian Image had ceased trading.
The factory build cost of these replica cars was a whopping $42,000 in 1990…..more than a real Testarossa at the time! 
Since 1990, the car has been in dry store (the last 26 years!). As a consequence there is not a scrap of corrosion and the underneath is very clean.
I believe this is the only one of its kind in the country.
As this was a factory build car, the build quality appears good. The fibreglass body is superb quality with the bonnet made in a clam mould so it looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside. There is not a ripple anywhere and the shut lines are excellent.
From what I know, the dimension and wheel base are very close to the real Testarossa.
As mentioned earlier, the car has never been register in the UK and has No paperwork and  No certificate of ownership. I have the VIN number but that’s it. I understand that due to it age, it should be relatively simple to get registered but its likely to be with a ‘Q’ plate as the history cannot be proved.
As the car requires and engine and gearbox, an interior, wiring, side lights/indicators plus re-commission, it would be easier and cheaper to have a Fiero donor car and take the parts from that.
The alloys are in good condition but the tyres (although inflated) are not useable after 26 years of storage.
The pop up light mechanism works and I did put new head lights in situ
