Up for Auction is my Fiat Grande Punto Eleganza 1.3 Multijet 90.

This has been a great little car for the 3 and a bit years I have had it, it"s absolutely brilliant on fuel. On the commute to work almost exclusively motorway driving) I can obtain in excess of 70 MPG if I take my time and sit behind a lorry. Travelling at 70mph 60 MPG is attainable without any special driving. 
Tax for a year only costs £30 and is dead cheap to insure. I was 18 when I bought it and it was much cheaper to insure than my 1.2 Clio that I owned previously.
The only issues I have ever had were a dead battery (now replaced with a brand new one) and a thrust bearing / clutch release bearing. the clutch release bearing and clutch were replaced at approximately 55k miles and should have plenty of life left ( I wouldn"t expect it to need replacing until at least 110k miles) Windscreen has been very recently replaced.
The car does unfortunately have some condition issues. The worst is a scrape on the front bumper, passenger side. There are some small scratches behind the passenger rear door. The bonnet has a small dent, with some stone chips and scratches. Most of these are to be expected at this age and mileage.
My reasons for sale are that I am being made redundant at the end of the month and I have also recently inherited my Dad"s car. if it were not for both these things, I would probably keep it for much longer.
