The Good Bits:
· 4x4
· Mini SUV

The Bad Bits:
· Sadly, a fair bit!! Rather than just throw it under the bus it was put through the car wash, some yellow paint polished off of it, a quick and undetailed hoover was carried out. The engine management light is on. Some exploration was to be done and if that could be reset, then an assessment to see if it would pass an MOT………………..and then one of the suspension springs snapped, so that’s game over !!!
· The clutch is right at the top of its travel.
· Only one key. Probably needs a new battery as it only opens the car manually.
· There are a few battle scars to the rear quarters, it’s met a yellow bollard on the front near side door, however the yellow paint came off!!!
This car does drive however if you buy it I’d strongly suggest that you trailer/lift it to its next location. Any risks you take in driving it away are entirely your own and your are advised against it!!
Is it dead??? Well the EML has been on and off for half of its life and it’s still driving. A clutch kit is around £48 and a pair of springs £28 looking on google, so perhaps not.
This vehicle has come in as a part exchange and is being sold as a Private Sale. Naturally there is no outstanding finance or insurance markers on the vehicle.
The vehicle is located between Stansted Airport and Chelmsford.

This is an auction but as proved to be dramatically unreliable with buyers actually committing. Not wishing to sound job"ist, but mechanics and people in the trade are more than welcome because they bid, they buy, they pay, they take away!!!
I"ve sold a previous spares or repair vehicle and it took 4 auctions for somebody to actually turn up and take the car away!!!!!! Call me battle scarred if you will..............Round Two for this car!!!
Due to a recent issue with another car which was very fairly and accurately described as....and to summarise it didn"t leave the factory yesterday this Fiat is described with all the known faults, this leads on to a lesson originating from the former US SoS Donald Rumsfeld back in 2002:
Faults: Known Knowns - that"s fault that is known about and declared Known Unknowns - that"s a fault that is not known about and therefore not declared but with a car that is 13yrs old, virtually no clutch and a suspension part falling off, it is fare to speculate that even though a fault isn"t known, therefore unknown, the fault should be anticipate to become known.......i.e. its a Spares or Repair car, there is going to be stuff wrong with it.Unknown Knowns - This is more in the realms of a Coco The Clown Car, in that you drive it down the road (against the advice in the advert) and the doors fall off and the wheels roll away from the car. We don"t know about this fault, but with a Spares or Repair car, anything can happen. Unknown Unknowns - The car, although described as Spares or Repairs, is in fact brand new and out of the factory......I don"t think this car fits into that category.This car has been used daily on a 54mile round trip to work, 5 days a week for many a year..........
Due to the issue with the spring, this vehicle will be removed from a compound and sold at the side of the road on the industrial estate. You will get a receipt which details legal title to sell the car and that there are no insurance markers or finance on the car. Normally you would be filling out your details on the V5 in my front room, alas the car won"t be driven there.
