vehicle description:

Here we have for sale my Ford Focus Estate, bought by myself as a cheap run around nearly two years ago and has fitted the bill perfectly until failing it"s MOT recently. I"ll try and be as detailed as I can on be listing it"s good and bad points below.
Good Points:Starts every time, runs smooth and doesn"t have any faults with the engine. I have left it for three weeks a couple of months ago and it started first time with no issues when I went to drive it again. It has also been sat for the last week un started and I"ve just nipped out and it started first time again.Interior is in good condition, no rips or tear to the upholstery, no broken dials or vents (Does need a good clean/valet though which I am unable to do as I can"t drive it to one without an MOT).Radio/CD player is in full working order. No warning lights on the dash.Big spacious boot.Good MPG I generally get to Leeds from London (200+ miles) on £20 with some spare. And here"s the biggest best point to the car: THE CUP HOLDERS! They have slits in the side so you can fit an actual Cup/Mug of Tea/Coffee (Your choice) in them, I"ve taken a picture of this as it is my favourite point about the car. It also doesn"t beep at you when You haven"t got your seat belt on which is nice when reversing or driving a short distance (Not that I recommend driving without a seat belt, Clunk Click every Trip).Cheap to tax, I pay about £16 a month and to insure I"m 25 with 6 years no claims and pay £350 a year.
Bad Points:No MOT, failure can be seen on the photo"s above. I did get a quote from the garage for the fix which came out at £250 this was for Two suspension arms and coil springs as apparently you can only buy them new in two"s. If you can source single parts or fix this yourself this car could be a real bargain.Minor scratches and little dings at various areas of the car, just general wear and tear over the years I"d imagine, I haven"t added any since I"ve had it.Only 1 KeyWhen it gets cold the Revs sit a little high just above 1K until the oil warms up, generally 2-3 mins of driving or 5+ mins of idling. Also during the cold the central locking is slow, the key still opens the drivers side door but you will need to reach over to unlock the passenger side. If you don"t do this then as your driving and the car heats up it"ll just unlock automatically nothing to worry about. The key doesn"t unlock the boot manually, you have to open the drivers side door and push the little boot button near the steering wheel to open it. Again only a minor annoyance rather than a big issue. No Spare wheel, well there is a spare wheel but its flat, can be fixed for £10 but haven"t got round to it, UK tyres North London on Colney Hatch Ln N11 will fix tyres for £10 or a good condition new costs £22 from them. I may have lost the service history that I had with it, I can"t seem to find it, If I do I will update this post.
All in all its a great runner and potentially an easy fix, I"ve managed to source another cheap runner albeit one of the ugliest cars in the world (Fiat Multipla) and don"t have the time to source the parts and fix this one for cheaper than estimated. Any questions feel free to ask, If you want to come and see it I can arrange that, my working hours can be a bit odd at times but I"m sure I"d be able to sort something. It will be sold without Tax as per new regulations. Cash on collection preferred but Paypal okay also.
