GTS Motorsport built BMW M3 Evo 2 Race Car
Ex John Cowgill and Callum Lockie multiple Race winning car
This is a hugely successful and respected race car. I stress this is not a road car adapted for the track, this car was hand built by respected race engineers GTS for John Cowgill and Callum Lockie and is the sister car to the well known and hugely respected car run by Harry Handkammer and David Leslie at the time. Originally finished in Estoril Blue in Shopkit livery the car was colour changed to white in 2006 and was subject to an extensive rebuild at the same time.
A Historic race car in the making, this BMW is an extremely capable endurance car and has competed in the 24 hours of Nurburg, the Silverstone 24 hour race on several occasions with class wins and placements many times over.  Have a quick look at the links below which are just a few of the numerous write ups and reviews on line.

Then owned and run by Robert Day and Paul Phipps in the Britcar race series they successfully contested the car in group N category for a number of years until we bought it from them some three years ago. Since then we have used the car for track and test days only. It is a beautifully set up vehicle having been professionally maintained throughout its life.
The specification is to extensive to fully list here however the basic are as follows:
6 Cyl 3.2 M3 Engine No Vannos dry sump
GrpA Cams, racing pistons, balanced crank and Motorsport light weight Flywheel, ARP Rodbolts, Helix 3 plate race clutch (new last year)
Extensive roll cage braced through the body to the struts both front and rear
Std ECU (Decoded & re-mapped)
5 Speed Butler Motorsport gearbox
3.62 LSD with uprated plates & running Diff cooler
Janspeed race exhaust system
ATL 120 Ltr Dry Break fueling system with high pressure fuel pump system
Quantum 3 Way suspension
Aircraft spec custom racing wiring loom
Carbon fibre custom dashboard
Stack Dash system with data monitoring facility
The sale will also include 10 Schnitzner wheels (four on car at present) and 6 Compomotive wheels, fuel churn and wheeled carrier for the dry break fuel system and a small tyre compressor.
The motorsport trailer shown in the pictures is also available with the car by separate negotiation.
The car has just undergone a full check and service at EJM motorsport in Alcester which has included new pagid yellow break pads oil service, recharged extinguisher and nut and bolt safety check.
If you are looking for a fast track day car then this car will blow most 100k plus road cars away with ease! If you are looking for a serious race car then this car should suit you. Eligible for many race series including Britcar and Khumo Cup (a few minor changes required for the latter).
