Grand Cherokee LPG.
Registered in the UK in 2003; I don"t know actual year of manufacture.
Originaly purchased in South Africa, owner moved to UK, used the Jeep here, then sold; I am the second owner.
10 months MOT.
This is a lovely, clean Jeep, and starts first turn of the key every time.
Fuel return here in rural Wales, is 50 miles on £10.00 gas; on a run, I get 100 miles on £17.00; so a lovely, powerfull, quiet ride, for cheap running costs.
Since we have owned the Jeep, she"s wanted for nothing, and the oil has been changed every 4000m, the oil still looks new on the stick.
We bought her 2013.
This Jeep has none of the usual transmission/axle problens; the transfer case, and diff"s have been well looked after; oil was drained and changed when we got her, the diff"s were also treated to the correct MOPAR additive for the limited slip side of things, gearbox is silky smooth, and the axles are quiet. The ride is completely clunk/knock/rattle free....I"ve had a few Jeeps over the years, and this one really stands out as a nice Jeep to drive.
New gas vapouriser fitted about a year ago.
Bodywork is lovely and sound; there are a few scrapes, as one might expect, but still a lovely looking thing; let me know if you need any other pic"s.
Interior is good, though the carpet in the load area is "well used" with some marks; I have never valleted, it would probably come up pretty good.
Gearbox is silky smooth and does everything as it should; high and low ratio work as they should.
Suspension is business like; and higher than what you might expect to see here on the UK versions; more 4x4, and less car like; there is no lift kit fitted, the ride height you see is as it is.
The roof rack will not go with the Jeep, but may be open to offers.
Mirrors are tempremental, they sometimes set to some other setting when you turn on the ignition, you just have to re set occasionaly; all electrics are in good working order otherwise.
Tailgate has had new lift rams recently.
Lovely chrome rear tail light guards.
Very Nice Orvis alloys fitted.
Rear windows are blacked out; this has been done as I used her for work, as with the racking that has been installed in the back for tools/parts etc; all can be removed easily, and the seats folded down in the back, are in good order. The interior, although in good order, is "as used" for work, it needs a good vac out; I will try to get round to it....but don"t guarantee it will be done.......you are looking at, and maybe buying a Jeep, exactly as it was in use for work.....no valleting, no washing, and no steam cleaning under the bonnet; which, actually, is lovely, clean and dry.
Gas pipework in the tailgate area, will need tidying up if the timber racking were to be removed....simple enough.
I have a new number plate for the front; the original fell apart the other day, and the yellow one was just at hand.
Some time ago, a check engine light came on, and she developed a roughish tick over.....still pulls like a train when you put your foot down though, since then, the light has come and gone a few times; it is far more noticeable when running on Petrol, gas is almost perfect; I have used her like this for a lot of miles, but, it does need sorting; with this in mind, the Jeep is being sold as spares or repair.
Tyres are going to need replacing in a few months.
