Engine Size 1493, Power 60, Previous Owners 3, and Standard Car
Conditions – Engine in good condition, the Timing chain and cam belt replaced at 100,000 miles. Body has a few dents at the boot, bumper and with some scratches on the near-side (Details of dents and scratches shown in picture). Following a moderate impact road traffic accident at back bumper, the Car was written off by the Insurance as “an uneconomical total loss” when their cost of repair exceeded their valuation of the vehicle.
According to the assessment of the Insurance Assessor, “The vehicle can be returned to use if repaired to a safe and legal standard…The vehicle may be returned to use assuming repairs are carried out to a safe standard and the vehicle is capable of passing a M.o.T test thereafter” was their conclusion.  With this in mind, we repaired the car to working use and had used it from October until 22nd December 2014 when the M.o.T expired. Tyres still good. The car battery is now flat, otherwise it would be driveable.
