Welcome to Our NO RESERVE Trade Sales Auction:
We use this account to sell our genuine part exchange cars that do not meet our high "retail" standards but are simply too good to send to a trade auction. All cars listed are physical and have been driven and have had a visual appraisal, also any known faults told to us by customer are highlighted here. They are accompanied with a detailed inspection which is by no means comprehensive. We welcome any further viewing / test drive or inspection and all cars are sold on a "trade sale" basis with no warranty implied or given but at a genuine bargain price from a trusted, professional prestige dealer.
To summarise, This car has been owned for the last 5 years by a Jaguar enthusiast. It was damaged and repaired to a very high standard a few years ago. The car does have a gear box issue and the air-conditioning is not working. I have just driven this car 30 miles It has driven very well apart from the issue with the gearbox. It is a common issue on S Types - it appears that the selectors have malfunctioned. However if driven manually in the J Gate it does drive better. The car is totally drivable and has been used on a day to day basis by the previous owner. This car would be great for someone that does a lot of mileage and wants something cheap and comfortable to drive long distances on the motorway.

Mechanical Condition:
As per the above, the following is based on opinion after an extended test drive of over 30 miles, none of our "trade part exchange" vehicles are mechanically inspected. The remote central locking is in working order and we have both keys. The car starts promptly with no engine issues, The gearbox does have an issue as described above. There are no warning lights on the dashboard upon start up or extended test drive. The tyres are virtually new, an indication of the car has been maintained. Exterior Condition:
The body work and paint work are in great condition with no scuffs, scratches or rust of any kind, if there are any slight marks they are very minor. The wheels are free from any damage, the paint is starting to fade on the rear ones.
Interior Condition:
There are no lingering smells or evidence this car has been smoked in or used to carry pets. The seats and carpets are in exceptional condition . There are no holes, tears or damage. There is no discoloration to the leather . The rear seats are in excellent order and look to have had minimal use. The boot is in good condition with no damage, dirt or stains. The AC is not working. There is no excess wear to steering wheel or damage to any of the buttons. All the windows and are in working order.

- We try to ensure we photograph any bodywork damage, but please be aware that we do sometimes unintentionally miss some bits, and on some of the older cars it is hard to document all damage within ebay"s 12 photograph limit, in which case we endeavor to show the most serious damage in the photos attached to the listing.
- Please understand that although you are buying a car from a prestige car dealer, you are getting the opportunity to buy a car at a trade price, in trade condition. By buying direct and cutting out the "middle man" you are not only cutting out the retail profit margin of the independent used car trader/dealer, but at the same time you are also cutting out any cosmetic bodywork repairs and mechanical rectification work (if required), that that used car trader/dealer would have provided. We advise all buyers to take the precaution of having the vehicle inspected by their mechanic.
