Really reliable car - long MoT and a solid runner and a real workhorse; leaps to life on the first turn of the key. This model, although old, is very much sought after as the 3.1 engine is pretty much bomb proof; it also has switchable 4-wheel drive so you have the option of conventional rear-wheel drive, full 4-wheel drive or low ratio 4-wheel drive which cover you for virtually any situation.
There"s masses of storage which is why I bought it a few years ago. and it pretty much goes anywhere. I"m reluctantly selling as I"m not really using it very much now and also need a much smaller vehicle for offspring to learn to drive! Has been used mainly for transporting music gear to sporadic gigs, going on camping holidays and taking stuff to the dump.
So, the downpoints:1) speedo & mileometer not working - the fault is in the instrument cluster which is quite easily replaced (you can find them on ebay). However, this means that the miles displayed are not accurate - the photo shows 160,000 and I think I"ve done about another 10,000 absolute max since then.2) Some of the doorlocks don"t work on the central locking and you have to open the boot lock from the inside3) It"s getting on a bit so don"t expect immaculate paintwork and a spotless interior! Mechanically rock sold though.
I also have a set of 4 spare matching alloy wheels fitted with snow & mud tyres listed as a separate auction if you"re interested.
