vehicle description:

We bought this May 2011 to tow a caravan and have toured Scotland, Cumbria, Somerset and Derbyshire on each occasion without issue.  However in anticipation of my retirement we are now selling the caravan to buy a motor home with the result that the TROOPER is no longer required. 
In practice its been off the road since the end of 2013 as I broke my arm that winter and had to undergo further surgery last year which stopped us touring.
Apart from a small scratch on the side and a surface rust patch on the tailgate, the bodywork and paint are very good.  The upholstery is cloth and there"s a very small mark on the driver"s seat although there"s no staining. The car does however need a new battery and for the MOT it will require a new ABS sensor. Apart from that the engine runs smoothly and has very good oil pressure although having recently started it after several months of inactivity it is burning oil, which I"m told by the garage is very likely a valve stem oil seal. Accordingly I"m selling for spares or repair although the overall condition is far too good to break. There is also a comprehensive file of old MOTs, service bills and the handbook.
As we need the space I"m selling without reserve but will let the auction run so please don"t ask for a buy it now price.
